Wholesaling Benefits

This is a continuation of “The Great Escape” interview with Eric Thiele. Eric is working with Sean Terry and Flip2Freedom.com to learn how to start up a successful wholesaling business.  In this section, Sean and Eric discuss the spiritual side of becoming a successful wholesaler.

Sean: Perfect. It’s funny, because I would set goals and do stuff. When you set a goal and there’s a time frame, you have to, first off, believe it 100%. Number two there’s that time frame, that urgency thing. What happens is you have almost this internal resistance when it comes to that goal I have to accomplish.

Well, here it’s going to be great because it’s going to be as if it already happened. That’s the secret, is knowing that it’s already been completed, and now it’s just attracting you there.

Now the second thing is the spiritual side of it. We talked about this earlier during the show. I believe in giving 10% of my gross income to either church or charity–I give it to church and charity. That has been a success principle and ritual that I apply in my life. Do you give at all to any organizations, charities, or anything like that?

Eric: Yes, the causes that I believe in, not the charities that aren’t worthwhile. No one fights for animals and raw land, so I am a big backer of conservation programs. Those organizations that buy land and take it out of circulation for development, that’s what I like to see.

Sean: Okay, perfect—for land and animals then. Okay, so what I want you to do is . . .

Eric: Yes.

Sean: The reason why we’re doing this is because it either can be a struggle or everything just comes together. What I’ve found is when people come to me and say, “I don’t know what’s going on. Everything is difficult. I can’t get deals. I put out marketing. I didn’t get any leads coming out.” All this stuff is because they have the law of attraction wrong and are not invoking the spiritual law of success, which is give 10% of your gross.

I’m going to put you on the spot here, Eric. Are you willing to give 10% of your gross to your charities and causes you believe in?

Eric: Sean, if I replace my consulting income with real estate, I’m going to be a lot more generous than 10%, believe me. I don’t have a problem with that.

Sean: I can tell you it’s scary. Let’s say, theoretically, you make $10,000 a month and write a check for $1,000. That’s a lot of money that you’re giving away. Some people have some internal resistance about that. They think, “I can’t give it way, because I don’t have enough.” There you are out of alignment.

If you believe in abundance and have an abundant mentality then guess what? You’ll know that you’ll give away that 10% and it’ll come back 10-fold. There are times where I write huge checks every single month, which still makes me chill because I’m like, “Holy cow. This is a ton of money. This is more than most people make in a month or year.” Being able to do that is phenomenal, and I am 100% humbled by it. It definitely has been a huge impact when I started applying that in my life financially.
